When I started my screenprinting business back in 2001, it was built on determination and hands-on learning, working with a four-color press that struggled with registration and an exposure unit improvised from a builder’s lamp. Over time, the business expanded to a team of 15, three large automatic presses, and an embroidery machine, printing for high-profile clients and events like Reading and Leeds festivals and creating apparel for Greenpeace at Glastonbury. At that time we were one of the only GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) approved garment decorators in the country!
